Was never a fan of this brand. It just always tastes a little bland compared to others and it has guar gum, which gives it a weird consistency. I would go for Chaokoh or Aroy-D instead. Both are cheap and easy to find at international markets and even big chain grocery stores.

Yes. Costco is about $12 for 6. Also the Costco one is organic. This is a great deal at under $1/ can with the 15% S&S. Bought two cases.

I was coming to ask this, it's starting to bug me how many foods are now bragging about things they didn't even have to achieve. Honestly, the FDA should consider looking at this because it's somewhere between deceptive and just dumb.

I saw "fat free" on beer once, not kidding. I guess that makes it healthy! Smilie

In for one, we love to "cut" our simmer sauces with this for a lot of Indian and Thai dishes.

There was a no fat diet trend, sugar free trend, gluten free etc. The food products will market to whatever is popular at the time.

Dog foods even change their recipes to whatever humans are avoiding at the time. Now we have grain free dog foods and people think feeding paleo/raw to their dog is the safer thing to do now

I just bought some for $1.79 each at the Chinese supermarket so this is a great deal. I use a lot of unsweetened coconut milk for desserts.

Save your money on this and get some better coconut milk. You might pay a few dollars more, but it is well worth it.

I had a can of baking power that advertised the powder as having 0 trans fats.

Many foods that don't contain gluten come into contact with foods that do during processing. This is especially bad with nuts, beans and grain. A gluten free label requires actual verification that they tested and found less than 15 ppm gluten in the product. Most Asian brands don't bother testing or avoiding cross contamination so they are a risk for our son, who has celiac disease.

PS Mae Ploy coconut milk for life! Best flavor and consistency but hard to find
