The HDR absolutely sucks. Not sure how this got an HDR rating but when I play OW2 its completely washed out with it enabled.
At this price its an amazing value. 1440p, high refresh rates. I will never use anything less than a 32" monitor for daily use.
I've been living in the cheap seats for decades now. Initially, I was poor, now I'm just more savvy (I work in IT).
No, this monitor will not show the bestest of the blacks, but in practice you're likely not to notice or even care. Yes, there better everythings out there, but a model like this would work for most people just fine and in fact would be a nice upgrade.

I picked up the 750 a year or so real cheap during a short lived microcenter price mistake. The IPS panel in that one is just OK. Nothing bad but certainly nothing special either. Performance is just fine with no glaring issues. What I like most is finally having comfortable native resolution again, at least for my taste. My last couple have been 27 inch 1440p, which for my viewing distance and eyes, required me to scale 120% to comfortably view. 1440p at 32 inches on my LG is perfect native.

'Told myself I won't replace it 'till it's failed or OLEDs get under $500.
Well, my current screen isn't *quite* dying, but has acted 'finnicky' some lately. Atop that, my long-time friend and gaming bud has been pestering me to upgrade beyond 1080p on my 7900 GRE, and I've seen HDR on his monitor...
For around $150 shipped, I couldn't pass it up.
I guess I'll DD this LG until QD-OLED/OLED becomes more affordable.
