You can always use half of the spice pack. Use the second half with cheap ramen or in a different dish. If the soup tastes too diluted, add a bit of better than bouillon base to enrich the flavor. Just a suggestion.

Not for me. The buldak 2x one is the one that's way too spicy imo

this stuff is freeze dried. this won't go bad, but the flavor may start to degrade and may go stale if you live in a humid area.

Actually, the noodles are fried, so you should consume before the expiration date. Funny how the expiration date is 12 months in the US, but it's only 6 months in Korea.

No 10% coupon for me, but still cheaper than my May 2023 order.

Too late lol. I'll save it for when I have a cold.
When I threw away 14 of the 16 in the box because I did not want to donate something I could not eat, its Scoville rating was 2,700.
The manufacturer made it even hotter in 2022 and its Scoville rating is now 3,400. Eating it would be similar to eating a bowl of Jalapeno peppers in terms of spiciness.

i stand corrected. regardless, the noodles are essentially dehydrated. as long you're not in a humid area, they'll last pretty long.

Weird that the description states it's the instant variety, yet the photo is of the cooking necessary variety.

Does the "best by" date really matter? You're boiling this crap anyway!!
They will go bad eventually, but not by the best by date. Just give them the sniff test. If you smell rancid oil, trash them.

The noodles do go bad. There is oil used in them and it does eventually go rancid. I had to toss out almost a full a case of 24 packs of Ramen last year we barely put a dent in. I saved some of the seasoning packets in case of need for other cooking.

Refining the soups with fresh ingredients makes them taste much better
