I've been using this off and on for a few years now with success. You could add a spouse as an authorized user to your card to get them a card so they can get in free as well
Likewise, I've never seen this on my card literature (and never heard about it from my ml advisor, who knows we're history nuts). Also, haw stingy can you be to limit it to a single admission? A pair would be reasonable, up to 3 or a family admission would be an ideal benefit.
I've had my b of a credit card for years and never knew about this. What else am I missing out on?

Yes this is what we did with the card and got two tickets. Child admission was usually not very expensive. But once we got the 2nd child coupled with a great depression in personal wages, wehaven't wanted to buy two tickets. So the first child got a golden age and was seen at the High in Atlanta to see King Tut stuff, Morris in Augusta 3 times, and Savannah Railroad Museum. All enjoyable, educational, and better than another day playing video games or doing yard work. But it's like a free month of YouTube premium. If you do it you'll be hooked and be spending more money to see museums not on the list. After this deal we did a South Carolina train museum, Cheerwine museum Atlanta city pass for the Aquarium and NCAA college football hall of fame, World of CokeaCola. Kazoo museum and USMC museum in Beaufort,SC. And more.

Do they just look at the card and give you a ticket? Or is there some lookup or verification of the card number?
They just look at your card. I've used it 3 times and I always just hold it up and they give me a wrist band

My wife and I have a BoA debit card and credit card (4 cards total). I wonder if they'd let me get both of us + 2 kids in Big Grin

I used my BofA card in NY museums last summer, and I did get an authorized user card just so my hubby could get in free too! But it is pay-what-you-want, but only for NYC and area residents. The Met has a zillion diff ways to get in free tho -- my daughter got in free with her NY library card!

Dallas and Fort Worth have one option each which is shocking. I would think that with all the museums in Dallas there would be more. San Antonio has about 5 options. That being said I haven't been to the Holocaust museum in a while so I'm in for the option.

Offers used to be way better years ago. I remember the botanical garden was part of it in Atlanta. The downside is only adults get free admission. Still have to pay for kids. Some museums offer free days on select days. Like the High Art is free every second Sunday of the month, so everyone is free. Check out your local library. Lots more free museums and possibly zoo passes too.

End up getting 2 more supplementary cards for your family for free so that can get all free admissions

Oh cool, if I take my 3 kids to the kids' museum, I can get myself in free. Thanks B of A.
This seemed like a joke. If you want to get your ENTIRE family in:

Call the bank and add each of them as an authorized user on your card. They will mail them a card with their name on it. There you go, now you can thank BofA for everyone ;-)shake head
