It's non returnable, please double check. These days, amazon customer service became pretty hard to handle.

Good price for $0.5/Wh, but like many smaller power stations, this unit will have very poor inverter efficiency (80% or below per most tests).

It also uses an extremely inefficient solar charge controller for some reason, which is more specific to EcoFlow's cheaper units, but compared to a really high quality MPPT you will easily sacrifice 30% of your incoming power. Guess EcoFlow decided to save a few $ there, I guess they assumed people will largely use these as power banks rather than to receive solar energy.

Edit: regarding solar charge efficiency, very few reviewers test this spec for some reason, which is infuriating. Or they will just test with a DC power supply lol. So I tested quite a few of the smaller power stations on some panels I own

So it's not Hazmat when they ship it to consumer but Hazmat when we ship it back? Hmmm…

Got one of these for $550 from costco with the 160w panel. Its honestly amazing. Wasn't expecting much since I didn't know the brand, but it performed amazingly. Even ran a normal sized hair dryer fine. Took the battery down about 10%

I have River 2 Max, River 2 Pro and Delta 2. River 2 Pro is my favorite. Easy to carry and plenty of power to run my DC travel refrigerator or freezer all day long during driving trips. It can run both if I use AC for the other but typically I bring a Ryobi 18v inverter and 9ah battery for the other. They are 35w and 41w.

There is an Amazon carrying case called Trunab that fits perfectly

This powers my sons bounce house fan for about 1.5 hours. I also tested it with a 30" Masterbuilt smoker and it can hold 225 degrees for about 3 hours. Long enough to smoke two batches of chicken breasts. Tried a portable cooler with compressor and it would hold 32 degrees for 24+ hours

Lots of uses.
CPAP machine while camping.
Tent fan while camping.
Power a router / cable modem / laptop during a power outage.
Run a 1/3 HP to 1/2 HP sump pump for a while during a power outage.
Run a small RV-style 12V cooler/freezer for quite a while while camping or during a power outage.
Run an LCD projector and laptop for a makeshift movie night while camping.

With the surge capability, you could probably even run a chest freezer for a while on this to keep food frozen during a prolonged power outage. My chest freezer's compressor uses about 800+ watts to start, but uses less than 500W continuously while it's running. It doesn't have to run for hours and hours. Just an hour or two of run-time will cool things down enough to buy you a lot of time if you have a new-ish well-insulated, efficient freezer.
This unit cannot run a sump pump at all. The starting amps and watts for any 1/3 or 1/2 sump pump would throw this into protection mode so please do not buy this for your sump pumps. Peak amp/watt requirements are on your sump pump tag by your power plug or just google your model and look for starting power requirements. I've been in search for this type of battery and starting requirements have eliminated all small portable battery options.

This pump is less than 1/3 hp and you can see the starting amp requirements:

https://www.sumppumpsdirect.com/Z...67274.html

Starting amps=25.9!!!

Thanks for sharing this great information. Are there any particularly good forums for this type of technical discussion on these devices?

FWIW, I just got a 12V/100AH mini LFP [amazon.com] for $199 a couple weeks back (manufactured by Renogy).. ~16 cents per watt-hour shipped, and includes low temperature cutoff. So far so good through a couple charge/discharge cycles

What the use case for these?
I have one mounted in my trunk and use the solar input and a DC-DC changer to charge it quickly when I drive. I use it almost exclusively to power my dash cam and it gives me 7 days of standby runtime. The LiFePo4 batteries make it ideal for using in extreme temps.

Don't forget the use case of making frozen drinks on the beach with a blender!

DC travel fridge/cooler, TV on patio or tailgating, electric blanket at kids outdoor sporting events...there are so many uses!

yah but the eco-worthy was down to $164

hard to spend $200 when you've seen $164

Wonderful little thing. I can run my little electric grill on this to grill two round of fish or steak. The peak power supports it.

Has been amazing with the fire bans and drought situation we deal with out West.
