Need to pull credit for this price and finance the laptop
concerning the laptop quality. For all the laptops I bought in the past, Samsung is the only brand that died on me.
I bought this an returned it. I am just sharing an experience. The laptop is fast and the screen is amazing although the build quality is lacking. I was always afraid to crack the screen while opening the laptop and it just feels cheaply made compared to a dell xps or Lenovo carbon etc. I would recommend checking it out in person before you pull the trigger.

Ditto. Book pro is frequently locking up on me as of late.
Mine did the same, found out the cooling wasn't sufficient and started having all kind of issues. Mine's only usable now when it's cool or otherwise it has to sit on a laptop cooler

I bought this for 600 on Amazon and I am going to return it. Terrible battery life and terrible thermal control. I really can't see how Samsung can advertise like 18 to 20 hour battery life on this. I am only surfing the web at 40% brightness and I can't get any better than 5 hours battery life, usually around 4.5 hours. If I am watching YouTube you are looking at 3.5 to 4 hours

I see "zip" i thumbs down tbh. Putting in your SSN and running a credit check for a few dollars off is not worth it.

Surprised there are so many mixed feelings about the Samsung book laptop series. I have the samsung book2 pro 360 and it is by far the best laptop I've ever used. I love it so much. Money well spent. I would def snag a book3 pro around this price.
Pro: battery life, oled screen, slim & lightweight design, and touchscreen
Con: 360 models are flimsy

I'm with you. I don't see the high end Samsung laptop very often, price most likely…

…but I have for years only heard good things about them

Been waiting for an incredible deal to pull the trigger. I didn't even bite on a deal that I think is better than this, but maybe should have. There was an Asus, similar specs, but had either 13700H or 13900H CPU, and ARC graphics, for $750, and I think $700 if you had BestBuy membership. People might remember this deal. Haven't seen it in several months.

Isn't this deal better than the Galaxy tablets since it uses the same AMOLED they use on their tablets and this one comes with the keyboard?

Would it actually hurt ur credit score though? In an impactful way?
Prob by around 5 points. Maybe ten if you have a shorter credit history or already have a few hard credit pulls in the last 2 years. It depends on what system you are looking at. It might affect your score by zero. People don't like doing something like this because if they are going to get a hard credit pull on their record they would rather get a card with a larger sign on bonus.

Oh that's a good way to think about it, score can only take so many hits, should make them count

If you're buying consumer trash on credit and not investments, you're wrong.

Depends on your current score and if you're planning to make a home purchase or something similar in the near future. With an 800+ score, I doubt a few of hard pulls would make any difference at all. If you're borderline and thinking about a home purchase, then maybe.
