Not sure activating is worth the $100 in savings. Will have to pay an activation fee, have a credit pull, and then deal with the hassle of actually getting it cancelled.

This phone is wayyyy too good to only be 300$ even if it's the non 16GB variant.

It has a snapdragon 8 gen 2, which is very comparable to the latest and greatest snapdragon 8 gen 3 in the s24 ultra. They are similar except the gen 3 is much better at AI tasks

Really good display too, and oxygen OS is not bad at all.

Just the cameras are kinda meh, not great.

Other than the camera this phone is comparable to the pixel 8, and s24. And for only 300$ it's not even close which one is the better option

Is this the phone that the 256 model has 16gb RAM. Might be worth it for the extra $100

edit: it is.

eSIM

Yes

Dual SIM

Yes (Dual nano-SIM slot)

^ that is a copy and paste from the specs on the OnePlus website. The screenshot you linked to is incorrect.

I've actually got the phone in my hands. 16/256 is the way to go. I wouldn't touch the 8/128.

I use Mint (T-Mobile), can I buy the unlocked AT&T version and use it with T-Mobile?
..... If not, why?
The specifications state: "Carrier Compatibility: AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, Google Fi, Tracfone" so it'd probably work.

I don't know if I'm reading this correctly but I did this deal today I actually did the upgraded version ( cuz well I wanted to and yeah), and the ESIM is definitely, there.

If selected, the device deselects the 2nd Sim function.

What isn't supported for you? Or is it more of a boxer's brief kind of support--that you like thing? 🤔

Why exactly is it a bad deal?

Better deal is the prime day deal on Amazon unlocked no activation for $350 or $315 in some region with extra 10% off

Time to upgrade from my 6T?

Does this model still have the screen off controls (ex: the flashlight, draw a "V" on the screen)? I use that every night and cannot imagine a phone without it.

Thank you!
Not sure if anyone responded to you. Yep, tgey still have it, love this feature

6t was my favorite in terms of phone dimensions. It is wider than 12r. I liked it more fro media consumption

Other than that having pretty narrow and curved display 12r is amazing

My kid has this, but the higher storage/higher ram version. Great for gaming. Camera is no good compared to my Samsung, especially in lower light. So depends on what you want it for. Amazing price for a fast phone and great screen if you don't care about camera. Speakerphone is also pretty weak, but who talks on the phone now anyway???
