Signed up for edu account and ordered on a whim. I have a 40in Dell ultrawide coming this week and was thinking maaaaybe I would get a 32" for gaming. And then this pops up. My wallet hates me and my bank has questions.

Trying to get some help from experts. Which one do you prefer? The one posted vs this one- 32" Odyssey G70B 4K UHD IPS 144Hz Ims(GtG) with G-Sync Gaming Monitor.

I want something to edit the 4K pictures. No gaming

I have both of these monitors. I wouldn't say either one is the best for this use case. But, definitely not the G70B. The Neo G7 is much brighter and colors look better out of the box but it has a curved screen, which aren't the best for editing.

VA panel…
So what?

This is a great monitor. I have 3x for sim racing. Only thing better would be OLED.

No. But I've had several VA panels in the past and never noticed any smearing. Maybe I'm not sensitive to it?

FWIW, I was a professional photographer and have a good eye, and affinity for good colors.

Again, this monitor ticks a lot of boxes.

My main desk monitor is a 42 OLED though.

I bought the 32" G70B 144hz IPS last week and it's really nice monitor along with speakers. If your not gaming look for 4K 60hz and it will cut half of this price.

Samsung VA panels are not the same as other cheap VA. They have far better response times

Got this and set up today. The curvature is very aggressive, not sure that I'm going to be able to handle it long term. I should have looked at this in person somewhere before ordering I guess.

I'll try it out for a few days I guess and see. I don't know how returns are for Samsung if it doesn't work out.
