VA panels have a bad viewing angle, and typically their blacks levels aren't as good. Stay away from VA.
Only thing ur correct about are the viewings angles. Though Most people sit right in front of their monitor. I've done research, and it seems like panels that these monitors got, have the best blacks you can get out of a Non-Oled panel. I think 32" 4k OLEDS are still over $700, so for $400 its not bad.

Very wrong. Yes they have worse viewing angles, but personally, I'm not looking at my computer monitor from the sides. As far as being "washed out," VA panels actually have better contrast ratios than IPS. This one has 1,196 dimming zones. Even without local dimming, its native contrast ratio is 3,326:1, while IPS monitors are around 1,100:1. With local dimming on, that goes up to 19,238:1. Also, the Neo G7 has a very high max brightness and great Color Gamut.
A mark against VA panels for gaming used to be their slower response times compared to TN and IPS panels, but Samsung has fixed this. Their gaming VA panels are now very fast.
Hmmm, $400 for a VA panel? This makes sense for gamers. Makes no sense for non-gamers. Non-gamers are better off with a 60Hz, 32" IPS LG panel for $200 (open box) or $240 at Costco when it goes back down to that price.
Do yourself a favor and don't buy this if you're unfamiliar with how aggressive the curve is. I used a Dell 34" curved and this thing is a headache and eye strain machine for me. The worst part is Samsung is giving me hard time and so far making it very difficult to return. I have been through 2 representatives and now they want me to call in. I am extremely disappointed in them right now.

I can get this for $400 or G8 for $475.
I don't plan on ever really going past 120Hz.
