curve is the main thing keeping me from picking this up. also Samsung has had some reliability issues with this line. but great deal for a 32" 4K high refresh rate monitor

its curved because its a VA panel and the viewing angles suck at the edges at 32" without the curve.
I want an affordable flat miniLED withouth a curve too, ideally 5k2k at 40" a man can only dream lol

exactly, and I want 32 inch partially for local co-op/VS, so the curve + poor viewing angles is a no go. and yeah, I'd take those specs no questions lol
380on the item page but when you cart and try to checkout it's 699 even with EPP/EDU
$380 in cart for me with EPP. Have you purchased any other monitors from Samsung this year? They have a 2x/year limit for their discount program I believe.

I'd take this with slightly washed out edge even, I get that it's a VA panel. But the curve was a no go for me, motion sickness and headaches. Seemed fine for FPS games, but try playing a game that is supposed to be 'flat' like an RTS. non starter.
I replaced a Corsair Xenon 27" 1440p OLED with this monitor, and it has been outstanding.
The mini-led is way under rated it looks fantastic. VA yes but it's Samsung VA the best in the bussiness as far as I'm concerned. The curve was the only thing I had never used, and it took less than a week to get used to it, and now flat panels look out of place to me.
The big difference for me was the fact it's 4K and the pixel density is perfect on this display, Text is clean and clear, videos and games look amazing.
I paid the same price during the Spring sale. This must be the break-even price for them.

I've had this monitor for years now. Maybe three or something like that? It's a good monitor. Text is clear. It's bright as all heck. However, colors on it are tuned terribly. It took me forever to calibrate it so NBA games or anything you stream look like "normal". I'm no expert on HDR, but I have a gaming laptop with a mini-LED 18" screen and I leave HDR on for the window settings all the time. It looks awesome even when not using HDR content for just regular computer stuff. This monitor in HDR mode looks like crap, except when gaming in HDR mode. I'm ready to upgrade to a 32" OLED monitor in the next year or so. The screen angle is bad, but it's super easy, at least for me, to get used to the curve so no issue for me. I worry that an OLED screen will be too dim, I like having it bright and always have room lights on. Sitting in the dark just feels weird to me. But it's a good monitor that works well with my Xbox series X, M4 MacBook Pro and windows gaming desktop. Never hooked up my gaming laptop to it, since that screen is amazingly better. Of note. No speakers on this monitor. It runs 120hz over HDMI from Macs and 165hz from PCs easily.
