A common issue with their multi tools is the on/off switch gets stuck after a few uses. It's all over the reviews. I'd wait until they release a trigger version.

Be aware, this is not the new model they just announced the other day as coming soon. It's still coming soon. This is the current BRUSHED (aka non-brushless) model. It's not a bad deal, just be aware of what you're getting.

I don't need a new one, but I'm going to buy the new one when it comes out. I'd pass on this.

One of the advantages of buying Ridgid cordless tools is the LSA lifetime guarantee (just be sure to register the tool in 90 days). That said, if this brushed tool would ever fail you, TTI/Ridgid would replace it via lifetime warranty.
