This is Rigid's past generation multi-tool and it is hot garage. If you can get new gen version, it is one of the best multi-tools. I think a much better option is the Dewalt XR multi-tool kit currently on sale at Lowe's for $119. I own the Dewalt XR and love it. I like the trigger feature rather than just a speed setting and an on button. The blade change is also extremely fast and tool ergonomics are very good. That kit comes with the multi-tool, 2 amp battery and charger, three premium Dewalt blades (not the junk they normally put in these kits), a depth stop/rolling guide (this is an extremely valuable attachment I use all the time), and standing attachment with sand paper. While the included 2.0Ah will work, this multi-tool tool is best paired with a pair of 1.7Ah Powerstack batteries (for the most compact size but lower run time so having an extra is important) or a single 3.5Ah Powerstack battery (longer run time and more powerful but less compact).
