The DeWalt XR is a much better tool and on sale for $99 (although this has better batteries). I have both. The on/off switch clogs and becomes unusable.

Dave is correct, this tool is junk. If you want a Ridgid 18V OMT, get the R86242B.

I concur, the tool is fine enough for occasional use, but I've had this out out twice for repair so far and it only turns on every third time you try the power switch... I'm all in with this ecosystem but this is by far the most problem-prone ridgid tool I have.

I have this version and I haven't had any issues with it being faulty. My only complaint is how easy it is to bump the speed wheel on the bottom. It's gets pretty annoying.

Ridgid has a been in a tear with these deals. Trying to exercise some restraint here. I have a corded Porter Cabke oscillating saw and don't need this.
