These are on sale because they're cheaper to make and not what the company excel at. Olukai makes the best leather footbeds on the market.

Rubber/grippy/sticky/sweaty footbeds on flip-flops are a dime a dozen and in this case, you're just paying for brand fetishism.

Actual leather shoes are the real deal. NONE of those are on sale: tells you something, right? Clearance bin.

Always hated flip flops until I got a pair of these at full price. Now own 2 pairs of their FF's and a few pairs of their shoes.

Their stuff is high quality and lasts much longer than a normal pair of flip flops.

I have had a flip flop tan since I discovered this brand. I have hiked in these and wear these everywhere. I have been through three pairs in five years simply because I abuse these so heavily.

FYI Nordstrom has the Ohana sandal for $50. My favorite of there's and looks a little nicer to me too.
