I just got one 220w bifacial foldable solar panel as part of bundle product from EcoFlow, they feel so fragile. In the process of adjusting the angle so to get full Sun direct light, it cracks!!! I couldn't tell if there was crack already when arrived or it cracks when adjusting! But it's so fragile and delicate! Can't believe this product is built to withstand outdoor environment!? Anyone who owns it please share!!! But Be aware!!! FYI , The one I got is using kickstand on the back to adjust the angle. I assume it's the latest design.also, when it is took out from package box for the first time, unfold and lay on the floor, it doesn't lay flat. It feels rigid.

How Can I link this with my 110 watt eco flow panel into one battery?

This is my second week trying to learn about this - and I get most of my education for most things from SD…. Smilie

I ordered a 160 Watt refurbished Ecoflow panel from ebay a couple of days ago. It was $145 with the coupon. The picture showed the old style with the case being the stand.

It got delivered a few minutes ago. I was surprised to see the box. It showed the newer style with the metal kickstand. I couldn't believe it. i opened it up and sure enough it's the new style. Nothing on the box says Nextgen but it does say "25% high conversion rate".

any online reviews? what's the real world wattage output? 140-150watts?
I would hope it would be higher than that. I have the 160w versions. They hit about 130w under ideal conditions...

I wonder why there isn't much more discussion about how these NextGen model differ from EcoFlow's own bi-facial 220w foldable panels, especially since that older generation model is currently $100 more than this newer model.

The one in this deal is NOT bi-facial.

EcoFlow does have a next gen bi-facial 220w panel on their website, but it's more expensive (though on sale right now) and not available on Amazon as far as I can see. Only the old style 220w bi-facial is on Amazon.

Are you sure? The picture may be deceiving.

I recognize that — the older bi-facial is currently $349 while these newer non bi-facial are almost a hundy less.

Are they just different enough not to warrant any comparisons of performance?

I'm 100% positive that the Amazon listing for this product does not mention bi-facial at all. I am also 100% positive that every picture on the product page shows the non-bifacial item. Not to mention that the pictures clearly show that the back of the panels are non-transparent and wouldn't be capable of this. I'm also 100% positive that if you go to EcoFlow's website and look at the 220w NextGen solar panels, of which there are 2, you can see the model here for MSRP $559, which matches the Amazon listing in pics and specs, and isn't bi-facial. Meanwhile they have the bi-facial NextGen model for an MSRP of $649, which is on sale right now for $369, but only at EcoFlow's website:

https://us.ecoflow.com/collection...lar-panels

All together, that adds up to about a 300% confidence rating on my part, but people can roll the dice if they want.

I couldn't comment on the performance differences or if the price differences are worth it. I would imagine the NextGen would be the better choice, but who knows. However, as I mentioned just a second ago, you CAN get the NextGen bi-facial version direct from EcoFlow for only $369 right now (on sale $280 off MSRP). If someone was debating going with the older model for $349, I think it would be worth the extra $20 to get the newer version. But whether either are worth ~$100 more than this one, I couldn't say. Probably not.

This is tempting. I just got the 200w renology portable panel and the rophie sc020 200w portable panel. I was going to send the renology back after some testing and preferring the rophie construction (it's lighter, was outputting slightly more power, prefer the stands magnet closure).
Now this pops up for about the same price.

Can you pair this with a 400W panel? I just splashed for the battery + 400 W panel from Costco and wondering if I can pair up this 220W panel with the 400W panel and charge the same Ecoflow battery system (Delta Pro 3600)

This one is definitely not bi-facial. It's 5 pounds lighter. That's the easiest reference point. Also the huge difference in the kickstands. This one has a more conventional kickstand while the other one is centered only and designed to discourage meddling with the back of the panel.

Will this provide enough power to light a 100W bulb?

Ditto. Purchased nearly 4 weeks ago. Thinking they ran out of inventory for the old 160w refurbs, so they sent out a brand new 160w next-gen model instead. Can't complain.

$259 for the next-gen 220w panel is fair even if it's not the bi-facial version of the next-gen models.

I assume the Delta Pro has dual solar power inputs like the Max? If so, then yes you can certainly connect a 220w and 400w panel, but I would highly suggest doing one in each input as they have separate MPPT controllers.

While you could, if you wanted, connect the 220w and 400w together in series or parallel and then into one input on your battery, you would be taking a hit since it would be limited by the voltage or current (depending on how you set it up) of the lowest spec'd panel. This is why, if doing a series/parallel config, you should try and match up the panels in terms of watts/voltage/amps as much as possible.

I started down the camping solar path last year and pick up a GoalZero Boulder 200 https://goalzero.com/products/bou...-briefcase to charge up my camping trailer batteries when I wasnt able to run a generator. Now I want a solution for my RTT setup and those GoalZero panels are fricken heavy.

Would these EcoFlow panels be an upgrade to the ones I have now? Also, is there a recommended charge controller and/or power station for weekend overlanding that would work with my existing panels or these panels?
