I have had these since they were introduced quite a few years back. They are still on my clubs, but I don't use them that often.

I consider myself an average/novice golfer (I shoot mid to high 90s most days) and they are definitely helpful as a way to keep track of my actual distances for each club. I still get a lot of value out of the club suggestions from the app, which I always use to keep score. You likely have to pay for the subscription to get the most value out of them (I always have, it's $30/year, so.. worth it) and I really love the app. The watch apps also work very seamlessly with club suggestions too, which is wonderful.. if you have a smart watch and wear it while you play.

My biggest complaint is that the NFC spot is sometimes hard to find on whatever phone I have, and it changes when you get a new phone, so you have to relearn. It also practically forces you to keep your phone in your pocket the whole round which I have had a hard time doing at times.

Overall, It's a wonderful product and the app makes the tags totally worth it if you can teach yourself to use them and have it not be a stresser, or one more thing to remember. After my second kid I just don't care as much about analyzing my distances and want to think as little as possible when I play, so this has taken a back seat.
