Looking to get first Electric mower. I have heard mixed reviews regarding their customer service if an issue arises. Can anyone chime in on if their CS is difficult to deal with?

Thank You
Customer service is great..... I. Mean great.

"2.5ah, 4ah, and 5ah not reccomended for optimal performance and runtime"
I think that's a CYA statement by EGO more than anything. Obviously a 2.5Ah battery isn't going to have the runtime or the same ability to increase draw before it reaches its power limit, but the average person sees "up to 60 minutes of run time" and reads "we guarantee at least an hour of run time and similar cutting performance whether you use a brand new 10Ah battery or a worn out 2.5Ah battery that hasn't been charged in five years and you got second hand at an estate sale."

I wouldn't buy this unless your yard is on the smaller side. I have a Ryobi with 2x6Ah 40V batteries and it manages my 1/3rd acre just barely. I can't imagine 2x4Ah 56V doing very well, that's 7% less power. Maybe ego somehow have a much more efficient motor?

I have one. Idk how it would be awkward. You can either press with your thumb or hold down with your hand. Works pretty well.

Free returns? Is this easily returnable if it's not what I need?

I have a touch drive one. Honestly, it kind of makes your thumb or palm sore after awhile because you have to keep putting pressure on it. Ego mowers are so light that I rarely even use the self propelled feature anyway.

I have the mower, but I don't like it. The internet convinced me to buy it over the Greenworks. Big mistake. The Greenworks have more power and doesn't get stuck on thick grass. GW cuts better also. Luckily, I didn't pay for it.

Is that pretty much the consensus on Ego vs Greenworks? I'm waiting for an 80v 25" mower and trimmer combo.

I need a blower and a couple batteries. Was in between Ego 56v and Greenworks 80v. Don't need mower because my grass is fake and doesn't grow Wink BUT I was looking at the higher CFM blowers 730-765. This seems like an OK deal if I were to try to just sell the mower, keep blower and 2 batteries. But it's only 580 CFM.... And I'd have to deal with "marketplace" people buying the mower.

Typically 5-year tools and 3-year battery. I think some of the higher capacity batteries like the ones that come with the 2156 posted above carry a 5-year warranty.

Not sure about process yet as I'm new to the line, but I seem to recall customer reviews talking about needing to deliver tools to authorized service centers for repair that went beyond battery/charger replacement. They won't sell/ship a part directly to you even after warranty ends is my understanding.
They've replaced both batteries and chargers for me.

The consensus is that Ego is better when you ask sites like Reddit. 80v is more powerful than 58v, and it shows when cutting thick grass. With the Ego, the cut is just okay. The blade isn't sharp enough to impress. Although, most battery-powered mowers are said to do less than a stellar job than gas.
