The way the bottom tread is built attracts little stones/pebbles. You have to pry them out. It's very annoying

The guy above me is correct. The tread pattern on these shoes suck. You can feel pebbles so if you walk on gravel expect to have tons of rocks embedded. I stopped wearing them unless I know I'm going somewhere strictly indoors lol.

I'm on my third pair of these, and they're fantastic running shoes. They're close to a "barefoot running" shoe, but still work well for me despite my high arches. The first pair began to separate the cloth from the sole after about four years. I shoe-goo'd them, but they started separating after another few months. The most recent pair is a bit of a redesign, but they feel like the originals enough that I recommend them the same.

The pebble stuck problem is very real. I have damaged floors because of it.

Yep. I've had several iterations of these and I kept coming back to them, but this particular tread design is one that I won't go back to unless they're ridiculously cheap. $72 is a good price, but not a good enough price to offset the annoyance of the tread.

With my last pair, I literally kept needle-nose pliers next to where I put my shoes in my closet so I could remove the rocks I picked up after every run I went on.

Free Runs have always been my favorite around the house sneakers. Loved the 2017s. Currently wearing newer free ones.

Comfy. Slipper of sneakers. I wouldn't want to run in them though. I've tried. They're ok. They're just so many better running shoes out there.
