Honestly, this is the price it should have launched at if they wanted to reach the broadest market with it as quickly as possible since you had to have a $500-$600 console already—I certainly would have been much more tempted. VR is a novelty for most people, and there were cheaper alternatives with better support and wireless connectivity when it launched—I think the tethering actually hurt sales as well because it precluded a lot of households with kids or clumsy people.

At $349, I think this is definitely worth a second look with the announced features if VR doesn't make you nauseous.

Dell sells the PSRV2 bundle with Horizon Call of the mountain- Anyone know if Dell would price match this? I've done Dell price matches with other products but do they price match video games & consoles? If so I can use my AMEX Dell offers/benefits to get this even cheaper

It's still not worth it. It's a failure, and that's why Sony haulted production.

Put it in your cart and then chat their customer support that you noticed it at several other retailers for the lower price. I don't see why they wouldn't match when all other major retailers are offering this price.

It's worth it for Gran Turismo 7 alone if you love racing games.

As others pointed out, Walmart is also doing the deal. If you have the Discover card, Walmart is 5% cash back this quarter.

Is this worth it? Any decent kids games for it? I know there's an astronfornitz but us it any good?
I would get the Quest 3 or even Quest 2 over this.

Meta is committed to the platform and is heavily investing on it vs Sony could decide to kill it soon for all we know.

Not my experience at all. There are really only a few decent games that hold up on the original PSVR. Overall the PSVR 2 has a much better library. With the PSVR 2 getting PC support on a couple weeks this would be a good time to get one if you don't already have a headset.
Gonna have to buy a adapter, and it will be missing a bunch of features according too the rumors.

I know. The "missing features" don't exist in PCVR (HDR, eye tracking, etc.), which is why it doesn't include them. Probably stuff they could add in later if it actually takes off.

Picked up an open box Horizon bundle at Best Buy that was really brand new with the gane code for $319. That price and the PC adapter coming made it worth getting. Don't know how they expected this thing to sell at $550.
