The game horizon the call of mountain is a digital game that its redemption code is on a card. You would be very lucky to get one that the game code hasn't been redeemed yet. So basically you would get one without the game.
I assumed I wouldn't get the code but my open box was $321 this morning and was essentially new with the code not used and everything in the box untouched. I played some Horizon and Red Matter and the headset is quite nice. Worth it at the open box price. No idea how Sony thought these would sell at $550.

the question is though, is it better than a Quest 3? I think thats the benchmark to be honest.
Can't say. Wouldn't pay $500 for a Quest 3 to find out. At this price the PSVR2 is worth it to me. Over $400 it and the Quest 3 were a pass.
Assuming same price.... cause I got my quest 3 at target with that coupon + gift cards and paid about 370. I'm happy with the quest, but it does have short battery and I wish it had oled

Keep in mind, you're comparing a $500 all in one wireless headset to a wired headset that is powered by a PS5/PC that has 5x (or more) the power. If you have a PS5 and just want to play sit down or low movement VR games at home, it wins by a mile. The Quest has been great for me, since I like to take it to friends and family, and let nieces and nephews play Beat Saber, The Climb, ping pong, and mixed reality games/apps like First Encounter have been a big hit.
Then you have fell for the bad part of the internet. Trusting people who over exaggerate or speak out of their arses on subjects they don't really know about.
If you were curious about VR or already have a PS5. This is a no brainer deal. $350 for a 4K OLED HDR Headset that has the best looking VR games in the industry... exclusives like GT7, Resident Evil 4 & 8..more......and the best looking PC VR games..and WAY better looking Quest ports. (Just go on Youtube to see comparisons)
You're going to have way too many games to choose from this gen. There are already 200+ PSVR2 games available after just one year.... and there will be way more going forward. The best part is the console experience of playing High End VR games. Ease of use. That really comes in handy when it comes to VR.
Which one of these VR systems work best with MS FS 2020?
It would be a wired headset, imo. Like this PSVR2. You are already playing in a sitting position, so a wire shouldn't be a big deal. 4K OLED display (perfect for night flying, and just great colors)... and more importantly, you're getting an uncompressed image.... in comparison to other stand alone headsets that use USB or stream the game wirelessly.
But if you get this PSVR2 for $350, you'll need to spend another $60 next week to get the PC adapter. Still $410 for a 4K OLED VR Headset that has a 110° field of view is a steal. And hopefully more of it's features (eye-tracking) get support as times goes on, or users create their own mods.
I'm sold at $250. Maybe a refreshed model is on the way?
This item has been a total bust for Sony. They have warehouses full of them. Prices can only go lower during the holidays. I seriously doubt they have a new unit they want to bring out at a $499 price point. Thats merely my opinion as retail is fairly weak right now. They could offer some different bundle for Christmas. Thats possible. Maybe at a $299 price point?
