You can activate phone #1 to have the bundled 1-yr and units loaded to it. Then activate phone #2 WITH A TRANSFER from phone #1; service on phone #1 (phone number, 1-yr, units) get transferred to phone #2, then the bundled 1-yr and units for phone #2 get added on top, giving phone #2 two years of service and 2x the units.

If you're currently using a phone on TF, your can activate phone #1 WITH A TRANFER from your current phone to have your current phone number, days, units transferred to phone #1, then the bundled 1-yr and units for phone #1 get added on top. Then activate phone #2 with a transfer from phone #1. After that, if you prefer to use your current phone, re-activate your current phone with a transfer from phone #2. Smart existing TF users do that all the time to "harvest" cheap service days and units from those HSN/QVC bundles.

Folks, just so you're aware...

The service plan is 1500 text, 1500 minutes, 1.5gb data -- for the *entire year*. Not per month. That's about 4 minutes of talk time per day.

It's an extremely minimal and restrictive cellular plan, one that you could even call insultingly low - especially if you're used to cellular plans in modernized nations (aka, ones outside the the USA). It's not for everyone, and make sure it fits your use case.

No need to be insulted - for many people (for example, those who use less than 4 minutes of phone talk per day) paying $2 (and sometimes less) per month for a phone service which includes a new smartphone every year is a very good deal.

What steps should I take if I want to port my number to TF and use my own unlocked phone? I only want to use the plan (1500 Min/Text/1.5GB Data for 1-Year) and do not want to use the Moto phone. I don't need to combine two 1 year to a 2 year either.

Will these new Moto phone still unlocked after 2 months if I don't use/activate them?
Phones have to be activated to unlock -
You can't use plan without activating phone since sim is linked to phone it comes with.

Thanks!
When I activate this Moto phone, can I port my number in, or I will have to get a new number? If I can port in my number, after I activated Moto, can I transfer to my old phone in one day or two, so that I can use my old number and old phone under this TF plan?

You could help yourself by reading the featured post at beginning of thread. Plenty of information has been provided.

The phone I am trying to keep using is not a TF phone and only have eSIM. I am still not sure if I can transfer Moto phone to that phone after reading the post here.

Android esim activation is problematic, iPhones after 12 should be fine according to the TF website. When in doubt call support and ask since question is specific to your phone.

I am still a bit confused about this deal. So I understand you can get 2 years of service with this plan. One phone comes with one year, and phone #2 comes with another year.

1. So if I activate service on phone #1 and then transfer the service to phone #2, the two plans will merge together and I will just have one line with 2 years of service?

2. So basically I will only get one line (phone number) for first phone and that line will transfer to phone #2 upon my request. So line #2 will never be assigned its own phone number? Is that how it works?

3. If I were to activate both phones separately at the same time, would I actually have two different phone numbers (lines) but with only one year of service each?

You get 2 phones. Your options: 1) Activate phone #1 with a new number then activate phone #2 by transferring the service from #1. The service will combine so you'll have 2 years of service and 3,000 TTD on phone #2. Phone #1 will be deactivated. 2) Activate phone #1 with a new number then activate phone #2 with a new number too. You'll have 2 active lines and each has 1 year of service and 1,500 TTD.

Thanks. So in the first scenario after transfer, phone #1 will be deactivated. I should still keep the SIM card in the phone just in case it does not unlock and I can later on re-activate phone #1 even if it's been deactivated using the same original SIM card that came in the phone?

Always - until it's unlocked or if you want to reactivate.

Dumb question, but how does the Tracfone system know what plan is attached to (Phone #1 when activating and) Phone #2 when transferring service? Is this 1500/yearly plan somehow encoded into the IMEI/SIM? Like the system knows that a yearly 1500 plan has been prepaid already when activating/transferring (to) these phones?

Or is there like a code/voucher included with these phones from QVC that I input when activating/transferring to tell Tracfone I paid for service already?

Yes, that's the way it's always worked with bundled phones

I had an issue with my phone that said i needed to input a service card pin like it was asking me to buy more time. I had to contact support.

I've heard from the other Slick deals forums that some of their Samsung phones from QVC came unlocked. Has anyone that bought the Tracfone Moto G Play 24' 2-Pack with 1500 Talk/Text/Data deal had them come unlocked out of box?

Hello everyone. I'm new here. Can anyone write detailed instructions on how to activate two phones and so that there would be two years of use on one number and so that two phones would be unlocked in 60 days or earlier, thank you
