Just ordered a third one on the same account/address.
Did your 3rd order fail before finally working just now? How many days ago did you place the second order?

Yeah, that is exactly why I got the $75 Edge 2024. At least I can use it as a WiFi device and sell it next year if it unlocks. The phone's (crazy) retail price is $550 for the unlocked version (current price on Amazon), so I think I can sell it for at least $150 next year. I might also just keep the phone and give it to my wife, but I already bought her a Stylus 2024 for $100 or so from the Total Wireless deal, and that one unlocks in 60 days from activation. I am swimming in gadgets. Haha.

Last time this deal was on, I joined the party too late towards the end of May. Did what you did and ordered the $30 BYOD and was able to order one tablet. They raised the price to $50 immediately after my first tablet shipped, so I never ordered another one. So the one tablet and one month of plan ended up costing me $50. Sold that tablet for $120 after using it for a couple of weeks, so at least it was not a net loss, and I did use the $30 unlimited plan during a vacation just for the data (saved me around $6 in data costs on my main line). So my net cost there was $44 for the tablet and a net profit of $76. Too much hassle for the profit, but at least I didn't get stuck with the 4GB A9+.

At least you were able to get two tablets out of your $30 plan. Whether you keep the A9+s or sell them, you will still be fine. But this deal is definitely not worth doing just for the profit. I am thinking of gifting the two tablets I got, and I will get more return in the form of goodwill in that way that the small profit that I will make selling these.
It's $50 for me - I had to pay $20 extra for the plan upgrade (was misinformed by the chat rep). I won't lose $ if I can sell just one. It seems our local market still has plenty of unsold tablets from the last deal. So it's too much work to be worth the efforts.

I also ran out of time last time, but I was luck to be able to get an S23 FE for $50 (plus $40 plan). It was a LOT of work as the site was very glitchy on this particular phone. Also, one day a few weeks ago, T-Mobile/Metro had a glitch that allowed all Samsung devices to unlock! It only last a few hours though.

I chatted with them and they told me 30$ plan is a legacy BYOD and won't allow online line add. They were able to upgrade to 35$ plan. I'm not a metro customer other than for this deal so I don't mind the extra $5.
Thanks for update. after upgrade. were you able to order ?

$90 for two tablets is still not that bad. Yeah, I saw that unlock glitch, but missed it by a few hours. Was still able to sell the tablet for $120 after using it on a vacation for over a week, so it worked out in the end.

I remember the S23 FE deals too. Didn't jump on it when it was only $90. Not worth it for $175 now.

Let's see how long the "cool down" period is to order another Metro phone. With their 12 month unlock policy and the $75 plan requirement, it is getting hard to justify buying any more of their phones. The $20 A9+ was the only reason I even ordered the Moto Edge 2024.

First attempt at the third order failed. Waited a full day and then tried again with success.

It was probably one day in between the second order and the attempted (first) third order

Was about to bite the bullet and order a phone... Can't get any of them to come up for free or the discounted prices. Full price everything, even with a google voice number. Is this happening to anyone else?

Some you may have to choose a more expensive plan.

Got it, thanks. So at least the $60/$65 plan seems to do it.
