Honestly , I don't think this is just a kids tablet. It is good for more than 90% of tablet users.

We bought two of these for my kids from target a few months back while they were $250 after years of shitty fire tablets. Worth every penny. Kids can actually play the games without crazy lab and crashing. Fantastic kids tablet.

Even at this price, I am hesitant to buy a 3 year old piece of tech. My current iPad is dying, the battery no longer holds a charge.

2nd gen has only 0.5GB memory and CPU was 32bit, it is not possible to run same OS in that as the current lineup that needs 64bit OS and more RAM.

As a parent, I think this is fine for basic tasks and browsing. Definitely. And way nicer than the Fire tablets. But 64GB is pretty barebones and not much room for games. And these older processors still hiccup on Roblox. I know because I've had to listen to the complaints. 🙄🤣
