Got this 13 months ago via Prime Day. It's great for espresso and coffee. However, our major issue is that, for the ground coffee option, you can only put in one scoop (putting in two will cause the device to error). and the coffee basically tastes like brown water. With our previous ground coffee maker, we usually put in 2.5-3 scoops of coffee per cup, which we cannot do now.
Besides that, just being able to get hot coffee on demand in the morning has been great. Wife and kid make lattes and use the frother with oat milk, and they're happy. This device has saved me hundreds in Starbucks purchases.
I ordered 800 series in Costco for $300 when I came across with this 2200 series for $350. I cancelled Costco and bought this because it's only $50 more expensive but comes with filter and it still newer model and looks better. It came next day, we tested, made coffee and overall we liked it.
I was given the option to "redeem AMEX points" to get 50% off (max $60). I used 1 Membership Reward point and was able to get the total down to $314 after tax!

Hopefully this might help. I have the 1200 model and use the manual coffee function every day. I use it to make decaf.
I use a tablespoon measuring spoon with finely grounded coffee making sure it's measured flat not heaping. Two tablespoons and it usually works perfect. It is touchy so I typically lean a little light but can fit 2 tablespoon scoops into the machine.
Got the 3200 w/ Lattego for $299 during Prime Day open box but basically brand new. If you like latte drinks like cappuccinos or macchiatos hot or cold, then I highly recommend getting the Lattego version to automate the milk steaming.
What size of coffee does this machine make? I usually brew 12oz in the morning and I like my coffee strong as well. I grind about 4 tablespoons for my 12oz.

You can put a 12oz mug under it, and it has "2x" option. Also, the water to coffee ratio is adjustable
Coffee amount: aroma: 1,2, 3
Water amount: 1,2,3
Is it any good for making espresso? Above comments seem all about regular coffee. I usually make espresso with 18g in (a little over 2 tablespoon) for 36g out (a little over 1 oz)

It is an espresso maker that can also make coffee. I use it to make a double shot every morning. Works great.

A couple of notes: First, this expects an espresso grind. If you are using filter grind, you'll get a very weak brew, indeed. My measurements were that a "full" dose at a proper espresso grind (from a Baratza Vario) was around 7g of coffee. You can put up to 9g, and get a sort-of ristretto. If you don't have a good espresso grinder, you should either get one or use the internal grinder with whole bean. It really will make a difference!
Even so, the coffee will be woefully weak on the highest volume option. Personally, I like running a two-dose espresso and adding hot water to taste (essentially an Americano).

Each brew cycle uses around 7g of coffee and produces 105, 130, or 200ml of coffee (3 settings). The 200ml setting is useless except to produce light brown, vaguely coffee scented water. Somewhere between the 105 and 130 setting is about where I think filter coffee should be. You can have it automatically run up to 2 cycles back to back. 4Tb is (I'm guessing here) about 28-30g of coffee. For a 12oz brew in the strength you're used to, you'll need to run 2 double cycles at the lowest volume setting (105ml/cycle). You may be able to get by with a 2x cycle plus a 1x cycle at the middle volume (130ml) depending on your taste and how you're brewing your current cup (i.e. 28g with a V60 pourover or in a single cup drip might be closer to a 2x+1x).

Coffee amount: aroma: 1,2, 3
Water amount: 1,2,3
So, you can pick possible 9 combinations.
I would suggest 3 & 3.
