I just bought a 15 inch surface laptop 7, but this deal has me very intrigued. For anyone who has used both, do you think it would be worth returning the SL7 to take advantage of this deal?

I have this laptop and I am surprised at how well it works
It is connected to two external monitors. Fast with multiple chrome tabs and light room and photoshop

I'm getting an open box - excellent order in tomorrow. It was only $812.99 at the time, so open box prices have curiously gone up. I managed to see it in person at a Best Buy Saturday and the screen is very impressive. I'm excited to watch some HDR content in a more dimly-lit environment. The build quality was better than I expected. I got this to replace an M1 Macbook Pro 13" for watching movies/TV and web browsing when traveling. I'm also going to try streaming to it via Moonlight to see if it's the best all-around display I have.

Already on sale. I generally like Lenovo, but the weakness of these systems is the app ecosystem for Windows ARM combined with the overhead of how Windows emulates x86 for legacy apps, and then the GPU on these being too weak to game even casually. Like, unless you are in love with Windows, an M3 Macbook Air makes way more sense, even for a bit more money.

Same giving open box excellent a try...See how the open box roulette gives me this go. Got the store pickup email already. I got it for less so hoping it's a good one.

I get it, it has an 3K OLED screen, but for something that comes with a snap dragon processor this just seems way to much to pay.... Especially when there was some Asus vivobooks and Acer Gos with 2.8K OLED screens for around $799 or less if open box.

I use DEX once in awhile and judging by that performance I rather stick to something with an intel or amd for anything costing close to $1000.

I have realized this forum prioritizes screen specs over everything else. If it has a good screen, it automatically gets a high deal score. Its as if people don't use external monitors with their laptops.

Does screen override soldered ram? 😂 That seems to be a popular pain point on herem 😅

Well at least all 3 of us agree that this seems way to much to pay for a Snap Dragon CPU laptop. Some people have more money than common sense.
I have 1 ready for pickup.

I'm hearing these Snapdragon laptops have a very high return rate, and have printer incompatibility issues.

You think the majority of people that buy laptops use external monitors, exclusively, with them? The screen is the primary human interface with a computer. Who doesn't want the best looking screen? Which is exactly why people do compare screens when choosing between models (especially models with same CPU and memory and SSD...the screen is the differentiating factor).
