This has one major drawback - there is no way to limit battery charge to 80% and it's ridiculous Lenovo doesn't support this feature even after almost 2 years of being released
curious why thumbs down, looks like a pretty solid deal to me for ultra portable oled touchscreen
The way I see it, last gen Elite X CPU, only 16GB RAM and small-ish 512GB SSD when most others offer 1TB. Screen is nice but only 90Hz so not that noticeable over 60Hz. Any Snapdragon laptop is going to be a slow seller and there's usually tons of sales on them. This price, for a last-gen model, seems high.
The open-box prices are pretty good though. Open box Excellent is $678 and open box good/fair is as low as $640.

It's not a bad deal per se, but I'm typing this on the same laptop that I bought a little over a year ago on an open box "excellent" deal for $558. The form factor and color are great, battery is solid and the screen is amazing, best I've ever had in a laptop by far. But it does get a little glitchy once in a while, probably due to memory limitations or perhaps ARM? Not entirely sure. That said, overall, I'm quite happy with it and will likely buy the newer Elite X2 model when it gets discounted later this year.

Funny you should bring up the Elite X2 model as I was just looking at it on BestBuy. Very disappointed because a) It's $1850 when you can get a better laptop (ASUS Vivobook A16 with 48GB RAM and 3K OLED) for less money, and b) why the HELL did Lenovo go down to a 1920x1200 display on this model? For $1850, only a 1200p display? Crazy, but no thanks. If the A16 is too big, wait for the Asus Expertbook Elite.

I'd go with the Lenovo for $678 because the Elite CPU and 3K OLED display are better than the ASUS. Lenovo support is also better. Your warranty from BB on an open box ASUS is terrible (because of ASUS, not BB).
