I bought one on a previous deal, and the performance is decent enough. The screen is the real showstopper here. If you need a mixed use casual browsing / light web-based application laptop that you may use for media consumption you literally cannot find a screen this good for less than $1K.

This. My wife had one of these and sold it for a macbook due to a job change but the display on this is absurdly good. Apple wishes they had something like this display in a laptop this thin.

Really good reviews but as with all Snapdragon laptops, it's not for everyone and for won't be compatible with a lot of programs.

Almost pulled the trigger but realized it's not a two in one.

I am like 0 for 4 with BB open box, even excellent.

Bad pixel, some kind of fan issue, etc. I think people returning are mostly because they had an issue.

How are the "fair" used versions from Best Buy usually? Just curious if it's worth the extra $50 to go for the "excellent".

Can the snapdragon processor run into some software/etc issues if you're doing coding/pen testing?

If you know what applications you will be using, you can check this website to see whether it will run natively, using emulation, or whether it will run at all. https://windowsonarm.org/

I didn't buy this but a different Lenovo Yoga Slim, it came without a power cable but I have a million USB-C charging cables so it was no big deal. It didn't come with the original box or packaging, and there were one or two scuf marks on the console itself but otherwise it was great condition, the system was in factory default reset (windows setup) so no worries about someone putting on spyware/etc and I ran debloat anyways. I don't think laptops come with any extras nowadays like headsets or extra cables.

It really is a huge YMMV and imo you should spend 10 mins at pickup inspecting the unit to make sure there are no physical defects and set it up and run a stress test overnight to ensure its not a bad system and the specs match. I've had my fair laptop now for 3 months and its worked great, saved over $700 from MSRP so I was happy.

The anti-reflection coating on the screen is terrible, though. I had to return it because it was giving me a headache - it was basically a mirror.
