Not true of Adobe (which is a company and not a program). Some of their programs are compatible but some are not. Acrobat (probably their most widely used) is only 32-bit compatible.

Purchased one of these open box fair last year. Works great, long battery life and standby. I use this for school and when I travel. So far no compatibility issues but I'm not running any special programs. Screen is awesome and so is the finish, but a bit of a finger print magnet.

Hit or miss still, just don't get this for gaming it really isn't intended for it

My wife had a Slim 7x, it has very good speakers...that are nowhere close to my 14 inch Macbook Pro. But I would note that the mac's speakers have a particular 'how is that sound coming out of that object' quality and this still has very good speakers.
I do prefer the screen on this to my Macbook Pro's however. And that is quite a claim - the Macbook Pro's MiniLED display is incredible. This screen was just next level.

Bought this just over 4 months ago as open box "excellent" for $588. Beautiful form factor and construction. Love the color and weight. Just about the nicest and brightest screen you can find. It only goes to 90hz, but this isn't a gaming device so that's probably not a problem for most. Not as much of a fingerprint magnet on the body as I was expecting, and the ones you get wipe off easily. My biggest complaints are that the keys are made of a material that gets discolored after even light use, and I'm not sure if they can be cleaned. And every once in a while Windows Hello fails to log me in and I need to enter my pin. Battery life is good, but I haven't gotten anywhere close to the advertised 16+ hour rating. Wish it had an HDMI port, but you can solve that problem with a few $ dongle. Overall, it's probably worth close to 1k new, but if you can grab one for under $700 in excellent condition I think it's a great value.

I believe the naming is based on processor type.
7 - AMD processors
7i - Intel processors
7X - Qualcomm Snapdragon X

Thank you I think you're right. The X might also only be for the "slim"
