The rule of pixel is never buy on launch. Always black Friday. They consistently make launch seem like a good deal and undercut it on BF by $200. I write this on my P7, while planning an upgrade in November

FYI - for those ordering from the Google Store, I came across the promo code "supersafshort" on a Reddit thread that gives an extra $50 off. Just pulled the trigger on a P9PXL (ew that acronym) and got the discount successfully - stacked with 10% Google One discount / trade in / $200 credit.

EDIT to add that "supersaf" as of 8.20 is a valid code (original supersafshort seems expired)

Do not count 200 google store creadit as real money. Ususally you can't combine it with any discount. All items are heavily overpriced there. So real value of 200 creadit would be around 70 YMMV.
Source: I have 50 credit from previous promo and still can't use it. Because I have to choose - use full crazy price and apply my 50 coupone OR use dicounted price which is lower OR buy at Amazon even lower.

S23 trade in is not worth it. the Plus is the sweet spot.

just curious, do they check if the phone is unlocked at Best Buy stores with a trade-in?

I chose unlocked for my iphone 12 from straight talk on the trade-in page, but it doesnt unlock for another month or so.

Yes. It does. Should look like this.

Also, the Cashback gets credited to the account after your order ships, not after you receive it. I made a mistake.
