I bought two of these last month after Hurricane Beryl and they are essentially worthless to me because you need an additional

to connect to a Delta Pro. This is not clearly stated anywhere. I didn't find out I needed an adapter until I went through the trouble of hard wiring it to my truck and was ready to connect the charger to my Delta Pro. The adapter is back ordered and will take a month to arrive

Sorry to hear. I was the OP for the $239 prime deal last month. My original post had a callout for Delta Pro needing an adapter. But SD staff edited my post and removed it. You could still see my original post with that callout. I also bought the $411 Delta 2 which worked with this out-of-box. Tested at full 800W charging from my PHEV. Also got this after Beryl for the next outage. Will use my PHEV and BEV as "generators".

I've already committed to wiring my truck. I don't want to undo the wiring. I ordered the adapter from Amazon and would rather wait. Although the alternator chargers are worthless to me today they will eventually be of great value when the adaptor arrives.
I just bought an ECOFLOW DELTA MAX 2 Power Station in case I lose power in my house.
What do I need this thing for?

I grabbed one when they were $240, ran it through some testing, and I'm pretty satisfied with how it works. My Delta 2 can now effectively have an extra 1-4kWh capacity depending which 12V LFPs I use it with.

I spent the $399 plus tax, on ebay, as Amazon hiked up well beyond that at that time. I still haven't used it. I have had it for around 4 or 5 weeks. I had delivery issues with the Delta 2 deal that was on slickdeals for $411 plus tax. Finally it came in...well after the alternator charger. Just received the Delta 2 actually.
