I have the AXE5300, which is the Costco version that is essentially the same. They have been absolutely rock solid and cover my ranch home, garage, front yard, patio, and much of the back yard incredibly well. No complaints about the speeds either, with gig fiber. Great reviews, for good reason.

Thinking maybe worth keeping the WiFi 7 for future proofing for the extra 150$?

Wifi 7 has wider channel bandwidth, but it's something like 9 vs 20Gbps..both are adequate for you
How do you use it?
