Just to make sure everyone is aware, you can still buy this iPad on the Apple education store for $899 and receive a $100 gift card. If the gift card isn't useful to you , then this Best Buy deal isn't too bad if you're a Plus member.

90% of the people have no real use case for an iPad. Need something portable? Do it on phone. Need something powerful? Do it on laptop. Save your $800 to upgrade the phone or laptop. I think that's the slick deal.

I am typing on my M4 right now and this is the truth. My thought pattern goes, need to do something intensive and or type a lot grab computer. Need to do something simple or browse for fun grab my phone. I have been contemplating selling it or making a return for this exact reason. It is. Gorgeous though

I think the biggest thing holding back the iPad is the browser. The browser is still a mobile browser so I still can't do simple things like fill out forms sometimes for less than optimized sites. It can be very irritating. So while it's certainly powerful enough it's still not a full laptop replacement.

That is fair, The only fair argument I'll ever accept is that sometimes websites don't display properly for whatever reason on iPad versus desktop version of safari however if this is something you can work around then having an iPad and external keyboard and mouse is def the ticket imo

Yea I was thinking the same. Love my 12.9" Pro though. I have a Mini 6th gen for on the go, but around the house the 12.9" is awesome. Now, if I could only have one, then yea the 11" would have been a happy compromise.
