Warren. They also make the Walmart super tech oil too. It's good stuff especially for the price.

You can take it to most oil change locations for no fee. I just dropped off 3 5 quart containers at Walmart when I bought a few jugs of mobile 1. I also drop off at auto parts stores like O'Reilly, advance Auto parts, etc. please recycle the oil as it has large ecological impact if thrown out or disposed of improperly

I am not technically inclined to change motor oil myself. If I buy this oil, can I carry it to Walmart ask them to change oil for me? Of course I pay the service charges (labor cost).

Am not technically inclined to change oil on my car. Don't even have the tools. If I buy this oil and take it Walmart/O'Reilly's or any other oil change places, will they change and charge me for labor?

People get too crazy about oil. Just use a quality synthetic like this and change it when it needs to be changed, and your Toyota Camry, Mustang, F150, whatever will be fine.

0w-20 and 5w-30 combo pack is perfect. It's worth $3.99 not to have to lug this stuff around the store and then home.

Indeed. I used to fuss about oil brands for my old BMW and settled on Mobil1 15W50 after trying Royal Purple, various other Mobil1 weights, then eventually by the time I sold it it was burning almost 1 quart every 1,000 miles.

After having driven all sorts of cars over the years, what's most important is 1) making sure your car HAS oil and is never *EVER* run low and 2) changing it and the filter regularly. Regularly changed full synthetic like this is going to protect PLENTY, and it's been tested and proven to work well. Both my kids' cars take 0W20 so I am going to stock up and dad's garage will be open for business! Smilie Will save a ton of money and get to show them the ropes.

Why spend the money on synthetic if you're going to change oil every 4k?
That guy thinks he knows more than the engineers that built the cars he's driving and the oil companies that manufactured the synthetic oils he's buying. If he wants to throw out perfectly good oil, that's on him. And not ideal for the environment too, but more on him and his wallet.

LMFAO the engineers ONLY care about getting you past the factory warranty and then you are on your own to pay for the $$$$ repairs or BUY A NEW CAR. Same as with "lifetime transmission fluid" You sound sooooo ignorant with your nonsensensical comment. Better check yourself. It's obvious you know nothing about nothing. Omg funniest thing i've heard all day.

Right. And what specific research and testing have you done to conclude that synthetic oils need to be changed every 4,000 miles and not listen to manufacturer specs?

Change your oil every 4k miles with full syn and you won't have any wear or sludge. Can't understand the fools who try to eek out every mile out of their $20 gallon oil. It's just dumb to literally sacrifice twice or 3 times the amount of miles you can get out of a good engine because you try to save a couple bucks on an oil change. Learn how to do it yourself for $25. Its the easiest thing in the world
Just no reason whatsoever to do it for most cars. My Honda is about every 8K based on the maintenance reminder. With modern engines, failures related to oil breakdown are almost non-existent. I don't even know anyone who has had a internal engine failure on a modern car.

Almost every guy who tells me he would never go over 3,000 mile oil change in their car puts absolute garbage in their own body and will have a horrible quality of life by age 70. Spend that extra $ on a nutritionist!

Comes to $30 in store and $32 delivered. If your local Costco Is a bit of a drive its well worth the $2 extra bucks to have it delivered right to your doorstep.

Getting off topic with nutritionist talk. Stick to the oil deal.

I run the Kirkland 0w-20 in my '12 Prius C (120k miles) and my '22 4Runner (9800 miles).

I send my samples in to Blackstone laboratories every oil change.

I've slowly been increasing the interval on the Prius based on blackstone's feedback about wear and remaining additive.

Started at 7500 between changes, then 10k, then 12k. The most recent interval I went over 15k and everything was fine but the additive was getting low so they suggested not to exceed 15k between changes.

The 4runner is a garage queen so I've only changed it once at 5k (it had factory oil) and am nearing 10k now so I'll change it and sample the Kirkland oil.

Just some actual data for this quibbling about frequency. YMMV.
