anyone use this or have experience? I was looking for something like this for roadtrips and hotel stays. don't like to connect to public wifi and Airbnb Wifi
This one won't work on Verizon and it's MVNO's network. There's a long thread on Netgear's own forum. I learned it the hard way and had to return mine to Amazon.
My previous work provided the Nighthawk M1 and I've had awesome experience with those so much so that I purchased one for personal. I then found out that I my plan (Tmo) gives more 5g / high speed hotspot on a phone line compared to the dedicated mifi line. As such, I moved the sim to an older 5g phone which I now use as hotspot when needed.
I may have only used the ethernet port on the Nighthawk once or twice anyway so I figured using hotspot on my old phone would be fine for my purposes.
On another note, not sure how long LTE will be around; might be worth looking into to a 5g mifi device instead.

LOL - LTE will be around for at least another decade.
