The problem is if the paint (more accurately the clear coat) on the car isn't protected. Things get on the car and damages the finish. This allows you add a "sacrificial" layer (the "ceramic" coating) in a fast and easy way (compared to way you do traditional ceramic coating). It's a simple spray on and wipe off. Makes the clear coat/paint super hydrophobic and keeps containments away from your clear coat. Also gives the car a very nice shine. Essentially it's a better, more durable "wax". It's pretty inexpensive considering what it does. Rated extremely well on Project Farm.

I've tried a variety of ceramic products (from various brands like Adams, Chemical Bros, CarPro, Ethos, Gtechniq, etc.), for the money and easy of use, this product is hard to beat.

Just FYI, for darker paint, it will streak.

Not sure why they haven't figured that out yet.

I still recommend it over the other alternatives, if you're ok with it.
It's true it'll streak if you think it's a simple spray on / wipe off with little effort process. I have a black car and all it takes to get a mirror shine is a little more wiping with a microfiber towel compared to my gunmetal car.

This is probably the easiest 3-6 month protection. You spray 2 shots onto a microfiber, rub onto car, wait a few seconds, flip towel and quickly wipe with the dry side
agreed, but I certainly would not trust this spray to hold protection for 6 months or any standard wax for that matter.

I can't convince myself to move to this over their Seal & Shine. If you've tried it, curious on your thoughts / comparison.
I have both, and both perform similarly in my uses, but hours of youtube test results seem to show this hybrid bottle is better protection for longer. If it's any indication, I still have some left and I'm going to buy another bottle while it's on sale now!

Sigh... I just bought this and used it over the weekend at the price of $16 before it went on sale. Regardless, great product. Used it on my two high end bikes and works just as well as it does on cars.

Start with really clean paint. Then you put this stuff on. If you use soap that has a wee bit of wax in it, it does make this stuff last a little longer.
Odds are it will last 6 months in arizona, 3-4 months in Florida, and a year in the rust belt.

And if you really screw up with the streaks, well just spritz some more on and wipe quickly. It reactivates it so you can "fix" the streaks.

Project Farm Rated this fairly high for dollar to performance when it comes to these "Ceramic" wax sprays.

Just to follow up on WiseSeagull238's post, you can apply this product and apply a top coat every month to keep the Turtle Wax unhindered. Tractor Supply has a 1 gallon of ceramic spray from Prime Solutions for $17. If you are wondering, that's an insane steal as most products like Chemical Guys have the P40 spraywax for $40 a gallon. As a bonus, I apply the ceramic spray wax to side windows.

Thanks to everyone's answers!

So the Prime Solutions on top of this Ceramic Spray coating? Got it.

I'll order some of this ceramic spray coating. Just need to burn through 4 bottles of Meguiar's spray on wax.

Prime Solutions Ceramic Spray Sealant? That stuff is pretty good, goes on wet (Drying Aid style) or dry. It's been a month since I used it, and my paint still beads water. Sort of, but it mostly Sheets which is a good thing meaning my paint still has hydrophobic protection. Also doesn't attract dust, and that's good from where I live. I want to test the durability of it by not using it on every wash per month.

Good luck! One more tip, when dealing with water, any sealant like Turtle Wax or Ceramic spray, surfaces in the sun will dry liquids quicker. It's best to do things in the garage or shade but if sun is necessary, just dry things quicker instead of letting liquids sit. I try to attack a panel at a time sitting in the sun. Regular garden water takes a minute or 3 to start leaving water spots but sealants will start to dry within 30 seconds

This stuff is fantastic for the price, but if you have a black/dark car try this one:

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B085K1H63K

Unfortunately it is not on sale but it works wonders on my black car

I ceramic coated last year my car using chemical guys , I've since washed my car with turtle wax ceramic car wash it does a great job. The times I have not used the ceramic coat wash I notice it's not as bright or shiny. I've used the ceramic coat wash on my pick up that's not ceramic coated and it's also a noticeable better difference than w/o .I may give this stuff a shot! ( FYI my car is yellow truck is dark blue)

Hope you find this answer helpful.
1. Nothing is guaranteed but It helps protect the paint from tree and bird droppings. My wife's car got a lot of tree wax and I just wash it off easily after 2 weeks.
2. I use Turtle Wax and Dry after very car wash as it leaves no water marks on paint and glass. If I am not lazy, i also apply this solution on top and reapply after 2-3 car wash which was recommended by Turtle.
