I bought a 260 lb set start of this year and I didn't know what everyone was talking about regardless the flimsiness. My 10 lb felt as sturdy as my 15 and 25. I bought this 90 lb set over summer and I ended up getting a floppy 10 lb, but the 15 lb is decent. I guess they have some quality control issue. I don't think it's a big deal at all since I never use the 10s by themselves. I would buy this set again if I had a choice, just not worth it to spend 3x the cost for my usage.

Good deal. But I'm reluctant to go with anything smaller than a 25 on these cheap bumper plates. Those 15's and 10's are probably so cheap and thin they will fold up like a taco. Anybody have those light ones? Or is it better to just put iron 5's and 10's at the end of the stack?

My 15's are sturdy as well. Use small iron plates outside of them.

My 10s bend like a taco with the weight of the bar if they are set up by themselves. The 15s and up hold fine.

I have these 10lbs plates and they are fairly sturdy. I also have the colored version and those are much sturdier.

Yes to the 10lbs for sure, but there's only like one brand ( I believe ) that say you can drop them.

These things stink! If you plan on having them stored in your home, don't. I just returned 520Lbs of this junk. Just too many imperfections and horrible stinch.

I just need some to weigh the equipment so it's not wobbly. Sucks to put sandbag which is ghetto.
Whats a good alternative. I used to get 100lbs for $100 no problem so it really a good deal to get plastic ones for a little cheaper??

I like rubber ones as can use it for deadlift . With the metal ones need to be careful of drop damage.

Mine did stink when it arrived. After few days of open air it went away.

The plastic chemical smell from these things are very strong and made my garage smell for weeks and still lingers
