Dollar cheaper than a couple days ago
But very niche product - only works with existing pole/cutter combo. Not a standalone product

I was going off "Pole not included; attaches to Fiskars Pruning Stik Tree Pruners (items 392341 and 392401, sold separately)"
but sounds like this can detach some fruits in its own per comments below 👍

Can fit other one inch range poles, such as a pool tools pole. It has a general connector with a nob to tighten, no proprietary connection at least.

True
but then you just have a can on a stick, it's still not designed to actually detach fruit. Maybe you can whack the fruit around and get it to detach, but this is really only made to be a catch

the fingers are sharp enough for fruit like figs and bend inwards to some extent. you put it around the stem of fruit and twist a little. Fruit falls into basket. it is hard abs if that is not obvious.
The thine or cage like ones you can find at home depot also rely on you twisting to detach fruit, this at least has semi sharp edges. [And they cost more]

I see there is a manufacturer picture with a fancy scissor attached pole. I see why you would think that is the only way it can work, I would hesitate too had I not just bought on a sale a year + back.

This has some pics and video for just the bag and pole. So the cutter is not needed.

Thanks, this should work much better than my lightbulb pole.

Not sure why this is marked as expired, it's still available from both Amazon and Walmart for $7.85 though Amazon is late Oct delivery.
