If you have waited this long, a bit longer waiting will surely gives a better price soon.

Thanks for sharing! Loved the first game and can't wait to play the sequel the moment it's released.

It's fantastic. I played it originally on PlayStation and am still picking this up on PC.

Good to see PC version now supports uncapped FPS and ultra wide monitor support!! I was on the fence between this and Black Myth Wukong and went with this. Played BMW on console at my friends place and its a great game but I couldn't follow the story and it felt like a repetition of same combos with every bossfight.

I've never played GoW series ever so definitely getting this. And PC version also comes with the DLC!!

That's always the case with video games, and with most games I don't mind waiting (and I almost never pre order), but I make an exception for exceptional games.

Use the same combo on BMW wont get you very far. Game requires skill and changing things up all the time. Finished GOW 2 and it didnt have the same wow effect of part 1. Much prefer BMW having finished both. Both great game. GOW ragnarok dlc was really good aswell

I would pre-order or pay full price for these games that hardly discount (e.g. Nintendo first party games), however, given this have been out on ps5 for a while, the steam version will likely to be deeply discounted soon.

The first game is an amazing story telling experience, right from the beginning. There's very few games that I consider in the same league as GoW 2018. Wukong is the much hyped new game on the block - and rightfully so. But as someone starting Journey 3 I still say Wukong isn't quite GoW worthy in terms of story, exploration, and world building. Combat / gameplay can be argued.

I really enjoyed horizon zero dawn too. Great story and gameplay.

This website already gives you a Steam code so no difference between buying directly from Steam or Fanatical. Secondly expecting a Steam sale below this price is very unlikely. Steam knows PC gamers are loyal to a fault and will gladly pay more directly to Steam. I have bought exactly 1 game from directly from Steam in the last 5 years and my Steam account is over 10 years old. Steam just doesn't have competitive prices anymore, other sites like GreenmanGaming, GOG, Fanatical, and many more offer way better prices consistently.

Absolutely agree, Steam sale prices have often been 15-25% higher than Epic Games and the 3rd party Steam key sellers. Epic failed even with the lower prices, so Steam doesn't have much reason to offer crazy discounts like the old days.

I grabbed it, the 2018 God of War is one of my favorite games of all time, and I appreciate that Playstation ports are starting to show up faster. I'll of course regret not waiting if it shows up on Epic for $30 at the end of the year after a crazy coupon/sale, but I expect this to stay $40 plus for a long time, so $50 to play tomorrow made it an easy buy.

I don't know why some are shitting on this take but it's spot on. All Sony PC games do that, rapidly, and waiting it out is the best way to encourage them to keep doing that

God of War: Released January 2022... $20 a year later
Zero Dawn: August 2020... $20 a year later
Spiderman: August 2022...$27 5 months later
Spiderman Miles Morales: November 2022... $23 two months later
Spiderman 2: October 2023... $35 7 months later

I hope you enjoy yourself playing the sequel tomorrow Smilie I remember playing the 2018 PC release on a whim but it actually ended up being my game of the year and as soon as I clear a few of backlogged games I'll grab this sequel on a sale, likely not on Steam lol
