I'm on a 14 now and I have a hard time thinking it's worth $400. I think you can get the same experience with a 12. I had an 11 and yes you'll feel that slowing down in use. The 14 has 2 more GBs of RAM over the 13 and 12 and that's really the only meaningful upgrade here.
Payoff and cancel is the name of this game. Read OPs other Walmart deals.
Can you also list the steps need to perform from buying to canceling and unlocking?

This seems like a great deal, but I expect the iPhone 14 and older to be devalued significantly with the big change over to type c charger from iPhone 15 onwards. It may be smarter to wait for a good deal on an iPhone 15 so you 'future proof' yourself. I understand there may not be good deals for iPhone 15 so this is not a comparison of price, but just want to make sure people have considered this point and judge the value for themselves.

What's the cheapest plan on verizon to set this up with? I assume you have to at a minimum buy a plan for 1 or 2 months and then pay it off and cancel service? And since my usmobile uses verizon would it work on that even while locked to verizon?

How about spectrum customers? Spectrum mobile runs on the verizon network supposedly, can anyone confirm?

This is incorrect. They only do a soft credit pull. This will not show up as an inquiry on your credit report.

I prefer lightning over USBC myself. May be my favorite connector ever. So satisfying.

And much more durable. I work in the cellphone repair business and lightning ports almost never break, sure they get filled up with pocket lint and other dirt and debris, but they are easy to clean out and will work good as new. USB on the other hand, I'm replacing dozens of those a week, one little chip on that middle piece and it won't charge most of the time.

Would you happen to have any idea if there is Iphone 15 deals coming at Walmart ? Or maybe 14 Pro (non Max).

The only reason I'm not jumping on this one is the notch that bothers me more than it should.
that what i thought initially too but you honestly forget about it after using it for awhile. i didn't even know it was still an issue till you mentioned it just now haha

I think lightning is a superior physical design and connector. I wish apple would have opened that up and it had become the new USB standard.
That said, I have lived significant amounts of time abroad without internet, and so I would often download things on my phone when at places with wifi, then via USB stick transfer to computer. USB makes that easy, lightning does not.

Can someone post the step to get the iPhone 13?
If I get it from store, do I boot it up and activate the line? Then call to cancel right away to void the activation fee?

14 camera is miles better than 12.
