This is one of the 2020 models with the HDMI bugs. Anyone know if these still have that problem?

Wow! Reminds me of getting my RX-A770 for $360 in 2018! Great deal in 2024 after that 80% cumulative inflation.

I have had mine for about 6 months and so far no issues.

YPAO vs Dirac? At this price point is it worth the extra for Dirac?

This reminds me of a similar rx-a740 deal I got from BB back in the day. I think I got it on clearance from a slickdeal for like $250.

I still have it and use it.

This deal is a LITTLE tempting though… I've been toying with the idea of upgrading my a740 to a digital streamer + integrated amp because I don't really use the surround sound features of my a740. I do use a few of the HDMI inputs tho…

My TX-NR626 video output just died a few weeks ago. Looking for a new amp for 7.2 in my basement room with my projector but we also have outdoor speakers that I like to use with Zone 2. Is this a good bargain for my use case? My Onkyo didn't have Airplay so I figure that makes streaming everything much easier on that end.

Any other models I should look at in and around this price range? Wait for Black Friday deals?

I've a Denon S750H. Is it still worth getting this one? As an upgrade?

This is only a 4 k unit. I wouldn't buy anything less than an 8 k
"The receiver also supports end-to-end 8K/4K resolutions and higher refresh rates for a smoother and more realistic viewing experience."

Is it not an 8K? I am asking to make sure I understand.

Seems like a smoking deal. I'm really looking at the 4 or 6 but at this price I might have to buy it and upgrade later. Love yamaha's sound
