You've probably never used one, but the magnets are insanely strong and quite hard to remove.

I used to feel this way but got really tired of sitting on a giant wallet. Even a slim front pocket wallet was just too much in my pockets. Finally tried a MagSafe wallet and will never go back. I don't think I've ever had it fall off except when I dropped my phone once or twice, but you know it immediately because you're so used to how your phone feels with it.

I will say a naked phone or some slick cases the wallet falls off easier, but I use the silicone case which is super grippy, so the wallet hangs on pretty good.

Brother Peichen, you seem way too risk adverse in life.

But MagSafe accessories are SUPER strong. The magnets aren't flimsy like one might assume. I was cautious too but trust me it's not going anywhere unintentionally! Now ofc the design of the actual wallet might be bad but MagSafe is not the issue here.

As comments have stated: magnet is VERY strong, which is a great thing.

Too bad the loop is the most fragile POS thing. I went through 2 of them in 2 weeks each. If the loop wasn't made with some really cheap fo-leather that easily comes apart, this would be the best wallet case on the market.

My go to is combining the ESR case so the magnet is super strong with a Moft wallet, since the magnet for it is weak (but highly versatile). The Moft is a little pricier but it's highly multifunctional: fits 3 cards, and acts as both a stand for the phone (both portrait and landscape) and also to securely hold it while walking with your finger through it. Combines the functionality of a pop socket without something sticking out.

just received it and works great. I can fit two cards and cash. I won't be using the loop except for a stand when needed so not concerned about fragility.

there is a new thing called iPhones... you dont need cards for costco...most folks dont live in hotels and instead have a key and own a car with a fob. Why would you carry around a debit card along with a credit card? two cards is all you need: credit card and license
:
Brah, a car with a fob?

Some of us intentionally drive low tech cars to avoid things breaking down.

Ppl like you are the reason lower priced cars like the Spark and Rio are no longer sold in America…

I got my Spark 6 years ago brand new 10K OTD. Now THAT was a real slick deal. Good luck getting even a new car for even 20k nowadays given how everything is an overpriced SUV now

Plus, if you want to save money you'd ideally have a debit card with you so you can take out cash for the occasional bodega or grocery that charges you for the card. And that debit card is likely old school since you're focusing on building up interest in a high yield online savings and checking account vs an overpriced bank like Chase that you pay for just for the 'convenience' of withdrawing money without a card.

I swear people don't ask what they need in life and just buy more thinking it's somehow a 'good deal' to buy something they won't use but is on sale.

Also you were so condescending I had to reply with something condescending in turn.

I don't understand MagSafe wallets. Why would you put your most and 2nd most important pocket items into 1 unit and have them secured by magnet? Why would you double the rate of taking out your phone / wallet from your pocket on a daily basis and introduce the chance of something detaching in & out of the pocket?
Convenience. I have a larger Max pro phone then i have a wallet and my car key. I can put 2 things into my 2 pant pockets but not 3. My phone usually will go to my back pocket and it's not preferred. I will still bring my wallet but it stays inside the car.

i highly recommend this magsafe wallet. acts as a kickstand, and has separate compartments for your Massachusetts photo id and costco card https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0D3XJ9PL7.

Does this thing affect the phone's battery? Mine's been draining much quicker after putting it on

thought all places went to the chip readers. Are magnetic strip swiping still in use commonly?
Like 20% of the time the chip readers dont work with my cards so gotta default to swiping. I know the problem isn't my cards, since I have the same problem when I get new credit cards, so it's likely the chip readers in the shops around me being defective

It's a backup plan, and I think it's always good to have a backup plan

I love these wallets but the build quality of the strap is trash. I've used two within a year. Check the reviews, it's a common complaint. But for this price, it's not that bad.

It is compatible. Their listing says that it is not, but I have it on my 13 mini and it fits perfectly.

I ordered one for the price but I will still be looking for one of them that doubles as a stand also…

I have a pop socket MagSafe wallet. I've had this thing for like 2 years and never once lost it. The pop socket MagSafe wallet is rated as one of the best (please note that I said one* of the best not the* best)
