Astro Bot will probably be GOTY, but this will be a close second.
OG and RE FF7 fans it's an easy buy. RPG fans it's an easy buy. Action fans it's an easy buy.
I personally just passed 110 hours and I feel like I'm finally "done" even though I'm missing a few legendary battles (I'll never beat those)

The combat was my only issue with Remake, it just didnt feel fluid to me. In your opinion has Square improved the game in this respect?
Appreciate any/all experiences!

You can easily spam square to get through the majority of the game, but when you get to the brutal and legendary challenge stages, you have to maximize the dual techs, the magic system, the item system, the summons…. Otherwise you're dead immediately.
Plus, there are more nuances that you have to pay close attention to, like the Odin battle. No spoilers, but several battles force you to use critical thinking to pull off.
