Thank you. Such a mess. Now I wonder, if their systems can't keep a record of past sign up bonuses or cards we applied, why wouldn't it work if we just apply naively. Where did you learn about the 4yr waiting period for SUB qualifications?

What's this fine print on the application:

"This product is available to you if you do not have any Sapphire card and have not received a new cardmember bonus for any Sapphire card in the past 48 months."

I have the CSR so does that imply no bonus for me?

Does ink business preferred card count? I've heard from some that it's the business version of CSP, so would it actually count though?

Supposedly in branch they can see which cards you are eligible for. But like I posted, it was inaccurate for me.

Called multiple branches where they are confirming that the best they can offer is 70K points and NO $300 travel credit. They seems to be aware of the online only offer of 60K+$300 credit. No mention of $300 travel credit in the fine print for the in-branch offer of 70K SUB.

Are you folks applying in the branch for 70K SUB and then reaching out to change via secure message asking for the $300 travel credit offer?

I went to a nearby chase branch in southern California. They can confirm that the in branch offer for CSP is 60k+10k points. Its the CSR that has $300 travel credit offer in branch. Fine print doesn't say otherwise as well. At least with them.

Decided to apply for the public offer right there sitting in front of the bank rep and got approved for 7k CL. I have just over a year of total credit history but my employment salary probably improved my chances as well. No banking history with chase.

For anyone still sleeping on this card..the primary auto rental cover and chase transfer partners (Hyatt) alone makes it a really great option among $95 cards. $50 travel credit and dashpass is a bonus. If you make a hotel booking even once and book a car rental for just 3 days throughout the year, the card pays for itself.

Just to help someone considering a vfm travel card, if i somehow didn't get approved i thought the wells Fargo autograph no annual fee card is really great. Solid points earning across most common spends. Even has transfer partners for a free card. No foreign transaction fees as well.

In the branch is it 70K with 4K spend or with the additional 2K spend?

Called PA Chase branch and they confirmed 70k SUB with NO $300 Travel credit.

We even reviewed the website showing the $300 travel credit and they said their 70k SUB offer is different and doesn't include the travel credit. YMMV.

Is this still worth it for 60k SUB + $300 travel credit?

Struck out at a branch in AZ. He kept referring to the $300 as a card benefit for CSR even though I kept clarifying it to be a sign up bonus
Curious how some people got this to work out
