Not sure why made in USA version is almost 10x the price of this.
That's how much savings they can realize when using cheap Chinesium metal. Who knows what's in it? Who cares? It's CHEAP! buy buy buy. don't fret about what you're ingesting along the way.

Someone already posted the two from Costco, but SamsClub also has one (for those with a membership).

Tramontina Enameled Cast Iron 7-Quart Covered Round Dutch Oven, Choose Color
https://www.samsclub.com/p/6-5q-d...product_13

It's weird... name listed on site says 7qt, but the link says 6.5qt? No idea why.
Also made in China, but you can get a full refund with SamsClub anytime, if you have any trouble. And it's slightly bigger than the Lodge one. Tramontina is also a good branch. The two listed ( Lodge and this Tramontina) are both made in China.

Beware of these, they moved manufacturing to China, and it shows. Quality control is non existent.

I had a Lodge enameled pot for the past 7 years, then when it came time to replace, the new one rusted after first use along the top edge. The booklet clearly states there's no exposed metal, it just looks that way because it's clear enamel. Oh yeah, then how did it rust.

I returned it and considered buying the made in the USA one instead, but my faith in Lodge enamel has been shaken. For that price I bought a Le Creuset on sale instead.
I just got the 3qt version a couple weeks ago and the top rusted in the same spot after the 2nd use. I was wondering if that was a one off or not. I think I'll stay away from Lodge.

Would like to get the "Made in America" version at double this price.

Walmart is listing this pot with a limited lifetime warranty in the description, and I think that's a misprint.
It actually has that limited lifetime warranty. Not a misprint at all.

All I see is 44.84? That's either shipped or store pickup. Am I doing something wrong?

Labor in china is $3 an hour, and here it's $30+ an hour.

So I'm curious... Why would you use a Dutch Oven over a regular pot w/ lid?

Sounds like it was chipped before you got it. Some can arrive chipped in the box depending how it was packed by the seller., Le Creuset can get chipped in shipping too which I've had that happen twice and thats higher end product. Send it back to the seller for exchange or refund.

I bought this a few years ago for around the same price. I use it exclusively for making smoked queso on the Traeger 3 or 4 times a year. Solid product, still looks like new.
