To anyone who cares: I bought the 48ft set last month direct from Govee. These lights are not bright at all. Very disappointed in the purchase.

Be aware that these are not waterproof. Had two sets of these. Both had bulbs which filled with water and killed the whole chain. After close inspection it turns out that where the wires enter on top, Govee adds some sort of hot glue to waterproof the gaps. Except they're doing a poor job and not closing all the gaps. Thus the water comes inside and short circuits the little circuit boards. The lights themselves are beautiful, a real shame.

To be fair, it literally says 50 lumens per bulb. This means ambiance lighting.

For comparison, a 40w bulb is around 400 Lumens. So the pictures are definitely misleading.

No need. It's not that I don't believe you, it's that it works for me and my mother's account, my brother's account, and 3 of my co workers accounts around me. So to say "account specific" when 6 out of 7 can see it, I'm not sure what to tell you.

Just curious, I like govee products, govee customer service has been excellent even when item was purchased through Amazon. What's the deal with how/why they coordinate so well with Amazon... just a good venue for them to sell their stuff?

Do you mean where the power adapter is? The listing says that the power adapter isn't waterproof

No, the gap is at the top of each light where the two wires enter the black case. You could probably put your own hot glue over each gap and fix that issue.
