8a was a nice phone i preferred it over samsung but samsung just had much better specs.

Unlocked? I'd gamble $349 at cheapest.

The best deal I've seen this year was $489+1 year of phone service with Mint from May. Depending on your service/contract situation and monthly payment that is some pretty significant savings, for me at $25/month on Visible that saved me $300 this year so actual cost $189 for Pixel8a.

At least the pixel 9 still goes more or less across the entire back of the phone so it sits flat on a table. The leaks of the 9a suggest they aren't even going to do that in the future. They've gone from trying to build a unique brand identity with the pixel 6 camera, to just going back to every other phones design, such an odd choice, yet somehow exactly what I'd expect from Google at the same time, they can never keep a good thing going for long without ruining it.
