Op, thank you so much. My membership expired back in 2023. I joined as I opted in on a membership and purchase reimbursement deal. They have been sending snail mail $20 deals which I ignored. I had renewed my membership with COSTCO for $70+ 2 months ago which I think is exorbitant for what I buy there. I must stay, BJ's seems so run down compared to COSTCO. BJ's just did open up a gas area so hopefully, we will be able to purchase without long lines.

Bjs gas is a little cheaper than costco gas. Intended just to keep costco as the quality of their Kirkland products is usually so much better than Wellesley. But not a lot of their products overlap and we prefer some stuff from each place.

Bjs is a joke and looks like thrift store as compared to Costco. IMO.

I did not renew. I will renew November 1st. If I remember right, if you were to renew before 2 months is up, it will continue with the old renewal date. You have to wait two months to get the new renewal date. My membership expired August 31st, so I will wait till November 1st. Capish.
Speaking about the difference between Sam's, Costco's and BJ's. First off, Sam's gas is crap, If I put it in my Acura it would run like crap and very poor gas mileage. I wonder what's in their gas, water? In my area, Costco's gas is the cheapest. BJ's products are a little bit cheaper than Sam's club, plus they give you the option to use manufacturer and club coupons which you can stack. So occasionally you can get some really good deals. I like the ambience if there is such a thing of Sam's Club. lmao

You're not wrong... We all have to basically work a second job monitoring and maintaining dozens of subscriptions to function in this world since everyone wants to charge one... and why wouldn't they? It's far more profitable to collect money from people who fail to properly manage their subscriptions than to actually offer something of value in exchange for money. The icing on the cake is they can just turn the auto renewal back on at any time and there's no legal repercussion for doing so. Hopefully that happens before and not after the calendar reminder. I'm very envious of the previous generations that didn't have to deal with subscriptions at every turn. I guess it still beats constantly inhaling leaded gasoline fumes.

Got a flyer for a $25 renewal on my 4mo expired membership. Had the renewal in my cart but didn't press submit. Tried OPs link and logging in the price in the cart was updated to $10. Pulled the trigger. Thanks OP. 😊👍

I enjoy shopping at BJ's a lot better than at Costco. Costco is just so crowded.
