If you want the best ultrawide experience and don't want to spend $600+ on the new tech, this is the next best option.
All other ips panels will not be curved like this one. After 27' size, the monitor edges backlight becomes visible due to the viewing angles. For the best viewing experience, you need a curved display. To make things even better, this is a curved IPS panel so it should fix those pesky backlight bleed on the edges/sides due to viewing angles.
Nano IPS is the highest tier of IPS tech, it is bright and looks great.
This is normally $500 last I checked, so this is a banging deal on the BEST 1440pUltraWide IPS monitor.
Even though VA monitors have the best blacks, they suffer from black smearing. I would avoid VA entirely and IPS is smooth as indicated by scrolling up or down while looking at a browser page. Note that a GOOD VA panel will have good blacks and minimal backlight bleed, IPS only drawback is that blacks are more Grey. But I think NANO IPS should be really nice and since it's curved would reduce backlight bleed on the edges\sides.
I would buy this if you wanted the best bang for buck and wanted to experience ultrawide gaming or productivity.
Note that ultrawide is not supported by many movies, so entertainment will mostly have black bars on the left and right sides.

This or a Samsung G8 Oled same size for $200 more?
Nano IPS was the best option for me. Coming from an AOC VA ultrawide I couldn't stand the black smear/ghosting. I also tried out a Samsung OLED ultrawide and while the image was fantastic, the text wasn't as crisp and I was worried about burn in.
At $330 this is a no brainer IMO
