I love anker products but not the prime line. Why a Chinese companie that makes power chargers collects data about you and your devices is beyond me . Why is your charger connecting to internet 24/7 is puzzling. Devices can be hacked through USB outlets. Not saying Anker will hack you but others could easily do it using Anker Prime products. I'm sticking to "dumb" Anker products that do what they are intended to without connecting to internet
it's not about privacy, is about one day all your devices getting locked by hackers and to regain access to your phone, laptop or heck all your home network you have to pay bitcoins
Anker products are very good just not the PRIME line ( why would a charger want you to connect to internet)

I got this when it first came out because I had the 140w and really needed 4 USB-C ports. Keep in mind the plug is huge and not like the small 140w at all, because of that it's not very portable, but it's great on the desk to reduce clutter.

Any product that can do OTA firmware updates essentially gives full root control to the company who has access to it. So maybe Anker itself that would be malicious, but it could be exploited.
This Anker GaN charger has the same number and type of USB ports (4 USB-C, 2 USB-A) for $119., $20-$30 more than the posted deal. This item doesn't have any sort of internet connection.
Anker Prime Charging Station, 250W GaN Prime USB C Charger, Ultra-Fast 6-Port, 2.26" LCD Display and Smart Control Dial, Compatible with MacBook Pro/Air, iPhone 16/15/14, Galaxy, and More (Silver) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CYLL8Y89

Yea, there's an app, but if you never use the app and never connect it to the internet, then isn't it just a "dumb" charger?
