YMMV, targeted. I don't see anything on my account.

Thanks for pointing folks to the worst possible way to redeem their valuable points
I don't disagree, but also, all of the higher value redemptions have a significant knowledge requirement and/or a significant time/flexibility requirement in booking international business class flights either at 355 days out or 14 days out.
If all somebody wants to fly is domestic travel in economy, probably on Delta, you sure aren't getting more value than this sale... Even most intl economy routes will barely get you more.
Also worth pointing out that this sale values your points at 1.07 to 1.25 c/pt.

fwiw, if the OP has the same offer that I have, it's 'use 20% fewer rewards points' to get the gift cards in the OP's post. I got an email about it, so you can always check your email maybe if interested.

I know😊, there is a different world of points redemption game but it's not for me right now. I have been waiting to cash out so this fits my need. Even if one person makes use of this is enough for me. 👍
It varies with each brands hence I didn't list them out .
Apple 941 for $10
20% off Athleta ,Bath & body works, Gap
Others are 5-6% off and some are less than 1 c per point
I'm getting apple.
I just ordered and used two $ 500 certificates for Apple. This is about a 20% discount from the usual redemption. Got my wife a new series 10 stainless, with a remaining gift card balance of $ 250, after taxes.. This deal has been posted on Reddit and people don't realize what a great use of points this is.
Explanation.
You get four Amex points per dollar spent on groceries and dining.
Spend $ 25,000, get 100,000 points. This gets you two $ 500 gift cards, with points left over in the current sale. Usually, 100,000 points won't get you $ 1000 in gift certificates. I think you'd need closer to 120,000 points. This deal saved me about $ 240.
On newly released products, the series 10 is full price minus maybe $ 10 off.
VS.
2 % cash back credit card.
$ 25,000 in groceries and dining gets you $ 500 cash back. That's half the value of the Amex deal.
When people mock the Amex point recovery at a value such as a point being worth only a penny, and not even cash back, they forget you get 4 points for every dollar spent.
Airline miles.
I just used over 120,000 Delta points for main cabin economy from Ohio to Vegas. Used to be 40,000 RT to Hawaii for those miles. No way am I wasting Amex points on Delta miles.

Redeeming Delta miles sucks. AA miles are a great deal IMHO. I use 1/3 or less the number of AA miles to fly compared to what Delta requires.
Chase frequently runs 10-15% bonus deals for Apple, Target, etc. GC. I didn't realize that Amex MR points (to GC) are typically sub penny exchange rate. 20% bonus at a penny per point would be good, this deal is just average IMO.
